Aaron McBride is a designer and concept art director who works for big Hollywood movies. In his spare time he's working on his own graphic novel called Tóraidhe. He sent me some amazing images of this work in progress to share with all of you.
His description on Tóraidhe:
It is a period story in the spirit of Last of the Mohicans and The Guns of Navarone. It follows a group of people from different walks of life who, on the eve of a world war, have immigrated to the last unoccupied place in the world. A coastal city on an ancient continent steeped in myth. Before long it too becomes a desirable staging point for massing armies on both sides. At its core Tóraidhe is about the lengths people often go to to reinvent themselves, rise above their station or sink beneath, all in an effort to gain the approval of others but ultimately themselves.
I'm excited about this.
