"Sopranos" Star James Gandolfini Dead At 51

James Gandolfini, star of the HBO series The Sopranos, has died after suffering a massive heart attack in Italy. The New Jersey native found fame in 1999 as Tony Soprano in the cable series that ended its run in 2007. He had kept busy in movies and on stage since then.

The New York Daily News reports that Gandolfini died today while vacationing in Italy.

The actor won three Emmy awards.
