Hubble's latest videos are a stunning zoom and pan of a cross-section of the cosmos that goes as deep as half of the observable Universe. Look at all those galaxies filled with hundreds of billions of stars each. Some even have trillions of stars, most with their own set of planets. Mind-blowing.
I just wish it was available in 3D for the Oculus Rift. I just want to get lost in this flight forever.
This video begins with a view of the night sky before zooming in towards galaxy cluster CLASS B1608+656. It homes in first on a view of the area around the cluster from the Digitized Sky Survey (produced with a ground-based telescope), before focusing on Hubble observations of the cluster.
