Our old friend Jason Hawkes just sent us his new aerial work. New York and London always look different through his lenses.

The perfection and sheer beauty of his landscapes always leave me in awe—especially knowing how hard is to capture these crystal-clear images hanging out the door of a twin-engine helicopter.

Jason Hawkes specializes in aerial photography since 1991, working worldwide for companies like Rolex, Microsoft, HP, Citi, Siemens, Red Bull, Nike, Coca Cola, Nokia, BT, HSBC, NatWest, Ford, American Airlines, Toyota, Smirnoff, Mitsubishi, Samsung, National Geographic, O2, and BP. He has also published over 40 aerial photographic books for publishers such as the BBC, Random House, Dorling Kindersley and Harper Collins. You can buy his books in Amazon and from his web site.

You can follow Jason's work on his blog, Facebook and Twitter.

This is part of a series in which we are featuring futuristic, alien-looking or just plain awesome images of landscapes, cityscapes, and objects. If you are a photographer with such work, please drop me a line here.
